Prices and Payment
  • Prices :
    • All prices on DecorLays' website are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT.
    • We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. The applicable price is the one indicated on the website at the time of purchase.
  • Payment options :
    • We accept the following payment methods:
    • Visa/dankort
    • MasterCard
    • Mobile pay
  • Payment terms :
    • The payment is deducted from your account when the order is confirmed and shipped.
    • If there are any problems with the payment, we will contact you to solve the problem as soon as possible.
  • Safety :
    • We use secure payment systems to protect your payment information. All transactions are encrypted to ensure maximum security.
  • Receipt :
    • After payment has been completed, you will receive a receipt via e-mail which confirms your purchase and contains all relevant information about your order.
Right of withdrawal
  • As a customer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop online. The cancellation period starts from the day you receive the item.
How to do it:
  • Notice of cancellation:
  • Within 14 days, you must notify DecorLays that you wish to cancel the purchase. This can be done by e-mail or telephone. Information can be found on our website under contact.
Returning the item:
  • After notifying DecorLays of the cancellation, you must return the item within a further 14 days.
  • The item must be returned in the same condition as you received it.
  • You are welcome to examine the item, but it must not have been used to such an extent that it loses value.
Costs for returns:
  • You must pay for the return yourself, unless DecorLays has agreed to cover these costs.
Refund:
  • Once DecorLays has received the item and checked its condition, you will be refunded the full amount you paid for the item, including any delivery costs (but not extra costs for choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by DecorLays).
The refund will be made within 14 days of receiving your notice of cancellation, but DecorLays can withhold payment until they have received the item back or you have provided documentation of having returned the item
Right of complaint
  • As a customer, you have a 2-year right to complain in accordance with the Purchase Act. The right of complaint covers faults and defects that were present at the time of delivery.
How to do it:
  • Notice of complaint:
  • If you discover an error or deficiency in the product, you must contact DecorLays as soon as possible via e-mail or telephone.
  • Describe the error or deficiency in as much detail as possible and please attach pictures if applicable.
Returning the item:
  • After notifying DecorLays of the complaint, you will receive instructions on how to return the item.
  • DecorLays covers reasonable shipping costs in connection with the return if the complaint is justified.
Solving the problem:
  • DecorLays will assess the complaint and offer a solution, which may be repair, exchange for a new item, or refund of the purchase price, depending on the situation.
  • If the item is exchanged, the new item will be sent to you at no extra cost.
Responsibility
  • Product responsibility:
    • DecorLays is responsible for any defects in the products sold in accordance with Danish legislation. This includes errors and defects that were present on delivery.
    • DecorLays is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect use of the products.
  • Limitation of liability:
    • DecorLays cannot be held responsible for indirect losses, including loss of income, loss of data or other consequential damages, unless otherwise follows from mandatory legislation.
    • DecorLays' total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the product in question.
  • Force majeure:
    • DecorLays is not responsible for delays or failure to fulfill its obligations if the delay or failure is due to events beyond DecorLays' reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, work stoppages, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.
  • Choice of law and venue:
    • Any dispute between DecorLays and the customer must be settled according to Danish law by the Danish courts.
Personal data
  • Collection of personal data :
    • DecorLays only collects the necessary personal data to be able to process your order and deliver your goods. This includes name, address, email and phone number.
  • Purpose of treatment :
    • Personal data is used to process orders, deliver goods, and communicate with customers about their purchases.
    • Data may also be used to improve our services and send marketing material if the customer has given consent to this.
  • Storage of data :
    • Personal data is stored securely and only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as long as required by law.
  • Sharing of data :
    • Personal data is only shared with third-party suppliers that are necessary to complete the order (e.g. shipping companies).

    • Any dispute between DecorLays and the customer must be settled according to Danish law by the Danish courts.
    • If a provision in the trading conditions is declared invalid or without legal force, this will not affect the validity of the other provisions.
